SECRET BAY
Secret Bay or Gilimanuk bay is the only bay off the narrow Bali strait, where currents can reach 7 knots, which means that Gilimanuk bay acts as a catch tank for many larva fish and other plankton sweeping along between Java and Bali. This is the reason why this bay offers a number of rare jewels for the macro-photographer, including odd gobies, dragonets, Nudibranchs, seahorses, juvenile Batavia batfish, and many other organisms.
